Welcome Message

It is with great pleasure that we welcome you to the upcoming APASL STC Meeting on Cirrhosis, which will also feature a focused Consensus Meeting on Acute-on-Chronic Liver Failure (ACLF). This significant scientific event is jointly organized by the Asian Pacific Association for the Study of the Liver (APASL), the GI and Liver Foundation (Myanmar), and the Myanmar GI and Liver Society.

We are honored to host this prestigious meeting in the historic and vibrant city of Yangon, Myanmar—a city known for its rich cultural heritage, warm hospitality, and timeless beauty. The setting offers not only a meaningful academic experience but also an unforgettable cultural journey.

As cirrhosis and ACLF continue to be major global health concerns, this meeting provides an important platform for scientific exchange, consensus building, and regional and international collaboration. A distinguished panel of world-renowned experts will share the latest advancements, clinical insights, and consensus recommendations that will shape the future of hepatology.

We warmly invite all regional and international colleagues—including clinicians, researchers, trainees, and allied health professionals—to attend and actively participate. Your engagement will enhance the dialogue and contribute to the advancement of liver disease management across the globe.

We look forward to welcoming you to Yangon for what promises to be a scientifically enriching and culturally inspiring gathering.
